What are colors actually and how are they created? Color is an impression of the sense of sight, a sensation. It is created when the light radiation falls into the eyes and causes color stimuli on the retina and these are processed in the brain to color perceptions. The white light itself comprises different colored fractions. The English Physicist Isaac Newton confirmed in the 17th century with executing three clever experiments that white light is composed of a whole spectrum of colored light.
